Rules for the 2008 Golf Tournament:

Rules of Play

Each player will tee off and then the team will select the best tee shot. All players will play their second shot from within one club length of this location without improving the lay. This pattern is repeated until the ball is in the hole. If the best shot lies on the putting green then all players will play from within 3 inches of this location. Record your score for the team on your scorecard.

Tee Boxes

Women will play their entire round from the red tees.
All men will tee off from the white tees to start the tournament.

Licorice Ropes

Each foursome may purchase one rope which can be used to make up the putting distance between the golf ball and the cup without counting an additional stroke. You simply tear off the length of licorice used until it is all used up. Be sure to use it wisely, once it’s gone – it’s gone! And, no, you cannot use the wrapper as part of the rope!

Mulligans

Mulligans may be purchased at registration. Maximum of 12 per team. Each player may use only 3 mulligans. Each mulligan is per person, for one use only.

ALL CONTEST HOLES ARE PLAYED FROM THE WHITE TEE BOXES. INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS MAY ONLY WIN ONE CONTEST HOLE. IN EVENT OF DUPLICATE WINNERS; THE NEXT NAME ON THE LIST WILL WIN – STARTING WITH THE CLOSEST TO THE PIN.
